Interview with Blaine Twilley from ABC's The Bachelorette

 

Recently we had the opportunity to participate in a conference call with Blaine Twilley from The Bachelorette. Twilley a 33 year old software salesman who resides in Dallas, TX talked about his experiences while on the show.

 

Q. How nervous were you going on the one on one helicopter ride with DeAnna?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I wasn't that nervous, but after we flew around in circles for a little bit, I ended up getting motion sickness.

 

Q. How confident were you going into the rose ceremony?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I was surprised I got a rose every ceremony. I didn't see a lot of interest from DeAnna throughout the whole experience. I was pretty let down that we didn't have a one on one date but did my best to go into the rose ceremony confident.

 

Q. Why do you think DeAnna kept you around?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I really felt that DeAnna maybe saw some potential there. I felt there wasn't that much chemistry between us, but I wasn't mad at her. It was about her, not me.

 

Q. Is there something you would have done differently if you had to do it all over again?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): Looking back on it, I really don't think there could have been a romantic connection.

 

Q. Do you think all of the guys were there for the right reasons?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I think some of the guys got into it for the publicity, but hopefully they changed their views while being on the show.

 

Q. Who do you think DeAnna is going to pick?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I think she might not pick anyone and might do what Brad did to her. Though she has chemistry between Jeremy, Jesse and Graham. If I had to pick one I would say Jesse will be the winner.

 

Q. What are you up to now?

 

A. A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): I am back in software sales.

 

Q. Any advice you would give future applicants?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): Don't shave your head. Watch the show ahead of time. I should have watched the show more and learned more about DeAnna.

 

Q. How did you end up on the show?

 

A. Blaine Twilley, (The Bachelorette): Wives of my buddies thought it would be a good idea for me to be on the show, so I went to one of the open casting calls and ended up on the show.
