Cody Green Wins $100,000 Grand Prize On "Step It Up & Dance"

NEW YORK – June 6, 2008 – It's a week of finales and winners on Bravo. "Top Chef: Chicago" comes to an exciting end naming the winner of its intense season next week, Cody Green won the $100,000 grand prize in last night's finale of "Step It Up & Dance" and Jackie Warner has more relationship drama on the season finale of "Work Out." TOP CHEF: CHICAGO:
The competition gets muy caliente on "Top Chef: Chicago," when the final three chef'testants – Richard, Lisa and Stephanie – battle it out in Puerto Rico to cook the meal of their lives on the sizzling season finale, Wednesday, June 11 from 10:00 – 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Special guest judge, Eric Ripert, Executive Chef at Le Bernardin in New York, joins host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, judge Gail Simmons of Food & Wine Magazine and culinary expert Ted Allen to find out who must pack their knives and go home, and who will become the next 'Top Chef.'

Wednesday's airing of "Top Chef," which remains the No. 1 food show on cable, ranked as the highest non-finale telecast ever for the series among adults 18-49 and total viewers, and was the No. 1 ranked cable telecast for the day among adults 18-49. Versus the prior season's thirteenth episode (9/26/07), "Top Chef: Chicago" was up 53 percent among adults 18-49 (2,201,000 vs. 1,438,000) and up 36 percent among total viewers (2,882,000 vs. 2,124,000).

STEP IT UP & DANCE:
Cody Green, a 27-year-old dancer from Surrey, Canada beat out three other finalists – Michelle Camaya, Nick Drago and Miguel Zarate – to be named the winner of Bravo's "Step It Up & Dance." In the season finale, each finalist was asked to perform in a group dance as well as an originally choreographed solo in front of a live studio audience, where Green was declared the winner and awarded $100,000. "When they said my name, my legs just buckled under me," said Green. "After the last two dance challenges I felt I had fallen out of favor with the judges and wasn't expecting to win. I definitely danced my heart out; I left it all out on the dance floor."

The creative competition series featured weekly challenges in which 12 of the best dancers from around the country competed to showcase their versatility and moves while being mentored and judged by some of the top performers and choreographers in the industry, including series mentor, Emmy Award nominee and Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell, series judge and long-time Michael Jackson choreographer, Vincent Paterson, series judge and choreographer Nancy O'Meara and celebrated actress, dancer and series host Elizabeth Berkley.

WORK OUT:
Jackie Warner's romantic relationship hits a rocky patch just as the results of her Skylabbers' weight loss is revealed in the third season finale of Bravo's hit docu-series "Work Out," Tuesday, June 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. When Warner finds suspicious text messages on her girlfriend Briana's phone, the two decide to pay a visit to Warner's therapist. But with so much going on with her business, will Warner be up to the task of repairing her relationship? Jackie has one last Skylab boot camp before her clients are weighed and their dramatic final results are revealed. Greg Butler's Skylabber, Deenie, is especially anxious following her run-ins with Butler and her dramatic ankle sprain. But whatever the final results, everyone feels the program was a successful and rewarding experience.
