Today we participated in a conference call for Americas Next Top Model where Katarzyna, a 22 year old from Roslyn, NY was the 9th girl recently eliminated from the show. Here’s what she had to say:

Q. How did you end up on the show?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): After college I started working and never really did much to pursue modeling. I heard there were auditions in New York so I decided to tryout and ended up getting on the show.

Q. Did you bond with any of the girls on the show?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I bonded with Marvita, Amis, Claire, Lauren, Anya and Dominique.

Q. Were there any girls you really didn’t like?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I really didn’t bond with Whitney and Fatima. Our personalities really didn’t match, they were ignorant of other people.

Q. Would you do it again? Would you change anything?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I would do it again. I just tried to be myself.

Q. Who would you like to see win the competition?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I would like to see Anya win the competition.

Q. What did you think about the judge’s comments, about you having a lacking personality?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I tried to be courteous, so I didn’t respond cause I didn’t want to be eliminated like past girls from other competitions. I wanted to show them that I could take criticism. They said I was coasting through the competition but I don’t think that was about me not trying hard, it was more of a misconception they had.

Q. Do you have any advice for future contestants?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): You don’t know what is going to happen at the photo shoots, just think about what you are trying to do and work with the photographer, the theme etc.

Q. Did you receive any good advice while you were on the show?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): Paulina told me that I had a squishy face. I think that was good advice cause now I open my mouth more in pictures, her advice was helpful.

Q. What was your favorite experience while you were on the show?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): The Rome experience. I really enjoyed the doing the Cover Girl commercial. I had never done anything like that before but it was a lot of fun. Also I love the catwalks.

Q. So what are you up to now? Are you going to continue modeling?

A. Katarzyna, (Americas Next Top Model): I decided not to go back to the old job in finance and initially went to Paris to visit my boyfriend who I hadn’t seen in 4 months because of the show. I want to pursue a career in modeling, I would love to do high fashion.
