Do you or someone you know suffer from a serious disorder? We are looking for various different syndrome cases for a pilot presentation for a major production company(see examples below) and we are casting participants who are willing to share their experiences. Please submit a photo and your contact info and also tell us about your disorder and what challenges it has caused you in your daily life. We are accepting submissions nationwide. We look forward to hearing from you.

Here are some syndrome case examples but we are open to hearing any and all cases.

Alien Hand Syndrome:
This unusual disorder is where one hand appears to take on a personality all of its own and acts in such a way that is completely out of control in relation to what the person wants to do.

Kleptomania:
Kleptomania is the condition of not being able to resist the urge to steal. People with this disorder are compelled to steal things.  Some may not be aware that they have committed the theft.

Foreign Accent Syndrome:
Foreign Accent Syndrome is another syndrome that can be brought on by brain damage. It causes the sufferer to start to speak their native language with what appears to listeners to be a foreign accent.

Night eating syndrome:
Night eating syndrome is an eating disorder, parasomnia, and mood disorder characterized by a pattern of late-night binge eating. It is also considered a sleep disorder, where people are unaware of having eaten while asleep.

Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS):
KLS is a rare and complex neurological disorder characterized by periods of excessive amounts of sleep and altered behavior. People sometimes refer this as Rip Van Winkle disorder, where people literally “lose time.” The disorder strikes adolescents primarily.

Cataplexy
Cataplexy is sudden and transient episode of loss of muscle tone, often triggered by emotions, and frequently affects people who have narcolepsy, sleep attacks, sleep paralysis, and hypnagogic hallucinations. Cataplexy manifests itself as a muscular weakness, slurred speech, impaired vision, and could be triggered by strong emotions.
