Clapit is the reality talent discovery app that connects aspiring actors with Hollywood decision makers. Producer Timothy Lee Conley is hosting an open call on clapit for the roles of Dr. Dre, Eazy-E & Tiffany for a reenactment scene in his documentary N.ot W.ithout A.lonzo. The film tells the story of Alonzo Williams, the Godfather of West Coast Hip Hop. Winners will be flown to Los Angeles, CA in October for the shoot.

Only non-SAG-AFTRA, non-union actors 13+ years old in the USA are eligible to apply. Entrants can only audition for one role, and audition videos must be PG-13. There is no charge to download clapit or to enter the contest. Read the Official Rules on clapit.com.

The scene is a nightclub in Compton in the early ‘80s, where Alonzo is meeting Dr. Dre and Eazy-E to discuss the formation of the hip hop group NWA. Dr. Dre and Eazy-E are both African American males and up-and-coming emcees. Tiffany is a female nightclub cashier of any ethnicity.

To audition for Dr. Dre, improvise Dre expressing his passion for rap to Alonzo. Though Dre is passionate, he is mild-mannered.

To audition for Eazy-E, improvise Eazy-E telling Alonzo an entertaining story about a recent performance. Eazy-E is charismatic & attention grabbing.

To audition for Tiffany, improvise Tiffany having an interaction with a difficult nightclub customer. Tiffany’s personality is up to you!
