A New York production company with strong documentary background (film & tv) is currently casting for voting stories leading up to the upcoming election. We want enthusiastic, (maybe a little enraged) engaging and eager people with stories to tell about why they will be voting - or not - this cycle.
- Is someone going to spend 11 hours to get to a polling place? Are they still going to vote?
- Is someone going to vote differently than they have every other year? Differently than their family?
- Is your great grandfather just ready to stop?
- How about native peoples, here or in Hawaii/Alaska?
- People in Puerto Rico?
- Voting abroad?
- Convicts who were proven innocent?
- Orthodox Jewish women voters? Muslim voters?
- First time voters who won't be voting?
- Does anyone genuinely not know who they are going to vote for and does a spur of the moment thing?
- Immigrant voters?
- Third party voters?
- People who are going to write in a candidate?
- Gay Republicans?
Specifically interested in: SINGLE MOMS, EX-CONS, NATIVE AMERICANS, ALASKANS (or Off-The-Grid folks), MUSLIMS, HOMELESS, DISABLED, IMMIGRANT, FIRST-TIME VOTERS
