Do you feel separated from your heritage and cultural roots? Is it difficult for you to identify with the cultural group you were raised within? Have there always been unanswered questions about your ancestry or background? Below are some examples of what we mean:
1. Siblings adopted by a parent of a different race or cultural background than you?
2. Someone who grew up believing you were a different race than they actually are?
3. A member of an Americanized family, that is of a non-American heritage?
4. A member of a split family who was never able to grow up surrounded by all or part of your culture?
5. Just finding out who one of your parents are, and getting to know them and their culture?
