Casting Call Information

City: Any City

State: National

A New York Production company is casting the Host for a new History Channel adventure series. The program is about going to remote, dangerous locations around the world at the most dangerous times of year,  under the most extreme conditions.

Example:  Taking a nuclear icebreaker in Siberia to one of the most toxic "closed" cities in the world;  taking the local bus ride on the “death road” in La Paz, Bolivia during the rainy season; learning to survive a helicopter crash while flying to an oil rig in the North Sea.  Please note: we aren't putting anyone's life in danger by producing these programs.  Safety will always be a priority.

We are specifically looking for men between the ages of 25-45, who look tough and ready to take on anything! The following criteria are a plus in any candidate, but not a must:

> -Past Military experience
> -Extensive traveling abroad, possibly speaks (some) foreign language(s)
> -Skilled in survival techniques
> -Comfortable in inclement weather
> -Educated in engineering and/or history
> -Mountaineering or large expeditions
> -Non-union actor

On-camera experience is good but not a deal breaker.  We’re looking for someone who can be comfortable in front of the camera, can tell a good story and be enthusiastic about new adventures.
