LaDedra Drummond is one of DC's most sought after publicist in charge of handling Washington's most top politicos who stand on both sides of the aisle. With more than 15 years' experience, LaDedra's main objective is to elevate her client's public image by promoting her clients on television, radio, and panels discussions. Her oversight includes tv/radio booking, planning, coordinating, & managing events. In 2004, LaDedra Drummond worked as a Dean's Assistant at Georgetown University Law Center, JD Programs. Currently, she is the Dean's Office Administrator for the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. In this role, she provides an array support to the dean's office including serving as a board member for the Georgetown University's Speaker Series, Business Conversations. Additionally, LaDedra Drummond has an extensive background in Capitol Hill's political arena and in the broadcast industry. LaDedra's experience as a media professional dates back to 1992. The following list exemplifies the various positions she has been involved: Her experience includes working for the "Larry King Live" show at CNN Washington Bureau, the House Recording Studio at the US House of Representatives; WUSA-TV 9; CBS News, Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer; as a press secretary for Rep. John Lewis (D-GA); and as special projects coordinator for Rep John Conyers (D-Mich). Therafter, LaDedra was press secretary for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) between 2002-2004. She is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, MD 1989 and a graduate of the Ron Brown-Paul Tully Institute for Political Action Press Secretary Training Institute.
