I think the Mayans were off by 1 year; 2013 sounds more reasonable. 13 is bad luck, right? Also, December 21, 2013 would have been my 50th wedding anniversary, so that's a nice round number for the world to end.

Christmas 2011 is finally over! Got the lights off the house and into the attic today, the last two steps. Now I have 10 months of non-Christmas to look forward to!
