A tale of epic fail: My younger sister called me this morning to report that, at midnight last night, her boyfriend, who lives seven hours away decided to leave his family's house, and drive to see her. He arrived, already thinking he'd made a mistake...gave her a hug, a kiss, and then promptly had a panic attack about his parents strangling him for running away. The result - fourteen hours in a car, round trip, to see her for fifteen minutes. The absolute panic attack was thrown in for free! Have a great Sunday!
If I'm expecting "difficult company" at my house, I like to burn a negativity-banishing incense; supposed to make a visit more pleasant for everyone. My family came over yesteday, and immediately began complaining that my house smelled awful, and decided they couldn't stay. I guess my question is...does that mean the incense worked, and got rid of the negativity? Have a beautiful Saturday!
"If all the doors are closed, chuck a brick at the nearest window." ~ My take on, "When one door closes, another always opens." Have a blessed Tuesday!
Well, it took six years of concerted effort, but my Himalayan has finally figured out how to pry open the refrigerator. Her first victim...an orange cream yogurt. Today, I'm installing a child-proof lock. Hopefully that will last, or soon, the whole house will be held together solely with twine and duct tape! Have a beautiful Sunday!
Luci, thank you so much for your continued support. Things have been very busy in my family lately, and I haven't had as much time to spend here as I'd like. I vote when I can, and wish you all the best while things calm down on my end. Your support and friendship means the world to me - your messages always cheer me up. Thank you so much.
I've been so busy with the website YOUNOW.com I forgot to stay on top of things. I hope to get back on track with you. Thank you for all your support, and here is something to remember. Success in obtaining anything in this life comes from the internal belief and confidence in one's self, as well as the drive to work hard at earning it. Not the Irish folklore of "luck." Later.
