Having a pet has been proven to have amazing healing and soothing effects on people. But there's still nothing quite as detrimental to getting rid of a migraine...as having a hyperactive six month old kitten, racing around your house at Mach 4, knocking over everything that isn't nailed down. I finally gave up, got up, and took a shower. The kitten is adorably passed out on my bed. The only thing stopping the tears is my ability to see the humor! Love coming your way from your exhausted friend! Voted.

They say plastic bags don't decompose for 1,000 years or so, but when I wrap something in a plastic bag for protection and put it in the attic, after a few years of hot/cold cycles the bags completely disintegrate.
It's a rare person who doesn't get discouraged. Whether it happens to us or to a friend you're trying to cheer up, the answer centers around one word: perseverence. Failures always hurt; rejection always hurts. But the choice of continued failure or success is in your hands. Your choice: Mope, and ask why, feel unwanted and give up.
