"When arguing with a stupid person, be sure he isn't doing the same thing." If you've ever had the sensation that you're engaged in a verbal disagreement with someone, and you stand a better chance of resolution with the nearest wall, there's more wisdom in learning to stay quiet than continuing a dispute where no solution is possible. Just a thought as we begin the work week. Have a blessed Monday!
Thanks for always being so loyal to me on RW even though I haven't been on here in weeks. How have you? Another season of Big Brother tryouts will be coming up. Good luck if your try out for the show. They need to get some people from the Pacific Northwest on the show though hehe...Who do you think will win the Superbowl? I'm going for the NY Giants. haha.
Had dinner with my kids and grandkids tonight. My son grilled stuffed chicken breasts, YUM. Seemed strange seeing him and my son-in-law in the kitchen discussing a recipe; my husband NEVER would cook anything. I was born in the wrong generation!
Introducing Persephone here on RW this Sunday. This is my 6 year old Himalayan, formally known as, "Her Most Royal Highness, Persephone, Queen of all the Universe." She owns us all; we just don't know it. (Or at least, she thinks she does!) Special skills include singing, sticking her tongue out when upset, and consuming things that would kill a normal cat without even throwing up. The dialogue of this picture ran: Me: "Persephone! Come take pictures with mommy!!" ^.^ Persephone: "Tonight...I pee on everything you own." The genius of the picture: Persephone and I made the same face! Haha! Have a great Sunday. Enjoy it - the week begins all over tomorrow.
Just got back from Veronica's 1st dance competition. They were awesome! The dance she was in "Circus" came in 1st in that division!! The other dances their group did won 1st and 2nd in other divisions. Can't wait for next weekend. Veronica will be in 2 dances!! You should come. Good night!!
"If you have no critics, you likely have no successes." ~ Malcolm Forbes. Especially relevant for those of us looking for our fifteen minutes of fame. With achievement comes both praise and criticism. Take the good, leave the bad, and remember the only opinion that really counts is your own. Have a great day!
DEAR ABBY: 'I have always wanted to have my family history traced, but I can't afford to spend a lot of money to do it. Any suggestions?' From Sam in California.
DEAR SAM: Run for public office.
I hope your Friday is just the start to a great weekend. Television enables you to be entertained in your home by people you wouldn’t have in your home.
"So long as there is breath in me, that long I will persist. For now I know one of the greatest principles of success: If I persist long enough, I will win." ~ Og Mandino. If there's anything I've learned, it's that talent is useless without perseverence. Good luck and best wishes coming your way on this Friday!
