I love to brag on my kids so get ready. Tomorrow night Dylan and I are going to a college football game here in San Diego. He was at a football camp this summer and the college coaches were so impressed with him that they asked me to forward his "JV" schedule so they could come watch him play while they were out recruiting. I told them he didn't have a "JV" schedule because he was only in 8th grade. He's so little but so skilled that they thought he was in high school. Any way, they offered us tickets to a game and Dylan will be on the field with them during pregame warmups. How cool is that?
Summer made the team and will be the lead-off hitter and do a majority of the catching. She ranked as the fastest girl and also had the best arm. So proud of her. Have a great day, I know I will! Votes are in.
We won 35-0. Dylan recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff. He had 4 tackles and 2 carries for 13 yards. Not a big day on offense but solid on Defense. Summer has softball assessments in 3 hours to see if she makes the fall team. Keep your fingers crossed. Have a great Sunday. Votes are in!
