Not in my school district in VA. I swear, there's more panic there if a single snowflake falls than there was during 9-11. I was there for that - my father actually was working in the Pentagon when it was hit. VA handled that. But, if they got one snowflake, PANIC. People start buying up rations, everything closes down...every little snow storm was a post-apocalyptic drill in northern VA. Madness...but it's funny now.
The roads are still icy here in my section of Colorado. But, as I sit here with some warm green tea, I find myself laughing, remembering my four years of high school in northern Virginia, where three times in four years, they canceled school for the POSSIBILITY of snow. The best part was; all that snow they predicted never came! Have a great, warm Saturday! Votes are in!
