Most of you guys have heard me talk about my three cats. My Himalayan is the biggest character. Among her...unique skills is randomly banging into walls. She runs into walls, and falls down the stairs. My first thought was to take her to the vet. After a series of tests, the vet found nothing wrong with her eyesight, inner ear, and no signs of a brain defect. Baffled, the vet sent us home. Later in my relationship with Persephone, I met my mentor in psychic arts. Among her talents is pet whispering. I asked her during one visit if she could tell what was wrong with Persephone. My mentor looked thoughtfully at the cat, and finally said, "She's telling me...she doesn't know how to stop." To this day, I don't know if that was serious, or a joke. But, it remains the best diagnosis I've gotten! Have a great day! Votes are in!
It is finally raining here so now the huge melt begins. At least I don't live in a flood zone! I named the 10 foot snowman that the neighbors made in front of my apartment Fred. Don't know why,it just popped out..."morning Fred, you a little cold?" then I laughed at myself for talking to snow! voted :)

I'm currently reading an anthology of translated Japanese poetry, and thought I'd share a couple I particularly liked. This one reminds me that we're all here to enjoy life. To never forget the lifetimes ahead, but to live each day one at a time, as a unique celebration that will never be exactly repeated. Just something to think about on this uniquely beautiful day. A thought for anyone who follows astrology: few things are more dangerous than a stressed out Aquarian/Dragon. Beware of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with catsup. Note to self: take an aromatherapy bath. And apologize to the martial arts children you left in tears after punishing them for their lack of respect. I have a huge snowman out front. Actually they say it is not done yet and he is at least 7 feet tall. We are supposed to get pounded with more snow tonight. Voted :)
