About Me
Acting/Talent Experience:
I was selected as one of the Best Home Cooks in America for "All-Star Academy" Season 2 on Food Network. I was cast as an alternate for "Cutthroat Kitchen - Grandma Edition" on Food Network, I had a camera interview for "The Taste" on ABC and a camera interview for "Guys Grocery Games - Grandma Edition". I have also auditioned 5 times for MasterChef but have never made it to an on-camera interview.

A major event in my life was:
The death of my first husband was a major event in my life that has impacted every aspect of my being, as well as, raising a special needs child with mental illness. Both of these experiences have taught me about tolerance, patience, perseverance, survival and overcoming adversity.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
My greatest accomplishment is raising 4 boys and watching them develop and grow into fine, young men with fulfilling lives. Of course, my Grandchildren are my pride and joy!!
An embarrassing story about me was:
When I was in High School I was running for Class Treasurer and had to make a speech in front of the entire student body. I decided to incorporate standing away from the podium to "stand out in student government". I left my speech on the podium, walked away from it, started reciting my speech then promptly forgot everything that I had rehearsed. After what seemed like an eternity, I retuned to the podium and stated, "I guess I really Bombed this one". Afterwards my nickname was "The Bomb".

I am an expert at the "Men in Black" ride at Universal Studios and can max out the score almost every time.
