When I was diagnosed with cancer, I didn't know what to expect. It's been a long journey. I've postponed my wedding several times. My boyfriend Johnny and I have been together for 11 years. Cancer was not going to stop me from having great adventures so I found a job with a major airline which allows me to travel any place in the world for free. I get to experience new cultures and make memories with my best friends which include my boyfriend, my siblings and parents.

I am proud of serving my community. I get to help organizations make dreams come true for those who are facing challenges such a cancer or hearing loss. I get to help in emergencies such as fire and evacuations. I'm able to help young women see their worth and lift them up. I'm proud of being a part of a family who taught me the value of serving others.

My boyfriends father lives his days from a wheelchair. I was really nervous to meet Johnnys Dad and have Christmas dinner. I sat quietly through most of dinner because I was afraid of saying something embarrassing. Near the end, his father asked me how I enjoyed dinner. I replied "it was great. I'm so full you could roll me out of here. Oh, not like you roll out of here. Maybe I could sit on your lap and we can roll out together." My boyfriend still makes fun of me and it was ten years ago!

I feel anything that would hurt or put down someone else. It fires me up.

I have one piercing in each ear. No other piercings or tattoos.

I feel I'm a unique spirit. The weirdest thing about me is I tend to dream too big. While most my age seem content with their careers, creating families and living boring lives, I like to find new adventures.

I feel my friends would say my best quality would be my heart. I truly care about those around me and strive to make a difference. My boyfriend says I'm funny or at least try to find humor in everything.

I have a temper. Like my family, we are loud and passionate. I quickly cut people out who hurt me or those I care about. I do not like dishonesty. I think they would say I'm not very forgiving when someone has done something intentionally wrong.

I like that I find life to be exciting. I'm family oriented with a charitable outlook. I like that when times get hard, I can find a way to make it a positive experience. I'm a hard worker who strives to complete every goal I have for myself.

I feel I can work too hard at times. It can take time away from other things that matter.
