About Me

Acting/Talent Experience:
I am a Bariatric patient of 13 years and currently still have my lapband. Bariatric surgery is not just a 'quick fix' as most people seem to think. Weightloss Surgery/Bariatric Surgery has a lot of negative stigma attached to it and I want to be that voice for those who have had it and don't feel like they can speak up. I want to know they are not alone. I do not have Acting/Talent Experience, but I sure know that I am not afraid of the camera and will do what it takes if given the opp.
Am I affiliated with unions?:
No
A major event in my life was:
I left my full time job so that I can become a full time advocate for bariatric patients. I was lost and found myself. The weight just does not miraculously fall off and its done after surgery, your life actually 'begins' all over again. Your 'entire' life is turned upside down, your life will never be like it was before. You will be born again as if you are a baby learning all new habits again. A new lifestyle. All habits will need to be changed including mental and physical.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
Obesity is a disease. We have 'multiple' diseases in America. I am working now with programs for bariatric patients, to date between 2011 and 2013, more than a half million people in the U.S. had some form of bariatric surgery. After surgery, 95% regain and are in need of assistance. My start weight was 210 and my current weight is 140. I am 4'11, which is very short frame of 210 pounds. I have been maintaining for 13 years with no prescription meds and I am able to do things I have never don

The personality traits I most like about myself are:
I genuinely care about others. I come from a very small town even though I live in Texas now. I graduated with a class of 90 even though I am in Texas where they have classes of 1000's. Everything is bigger in Texas. I am resiliant, I never give up. I take huge risk even if it means failure. I strive to keep being the best I can be. I'm adaptable, I'm inspring, calm, courageous, elegant, faithful, loving, hardworking and honest and caring.
