We recently had the pleasure of speaking with Kristi Russell the Supervising Casting Producer and Alicia Good who is the Supervising Casting Director for Discovery's show "The Colony Season 2". Kristi and Alicia talk about the upcoming season and offer some do's and don'ts when applying to casting calls.

Q. RealityWanted.com: So what is "The Colony" about?

A. Kristi Russell and Alicia Good: The Colony is a critically acclaimed series on Discovery channel. What we do is take a couple volunteers from across the country, put them in a simulated post apocalyptic environment and they basically have to rebuild.

Q. RealityWanted.com: What kind of casting tips do you have for applicants?

A. Kristi Russell and Alicia Good: If you show up to a casting call, just be yourself. We don't want you to act like someone you saw on TV. We are looking for people with opinions, be an open book.
