mtvU is honoring the best emerging musicians on campus for the first ever Chevy Sonic College Artist Woodie Award to be given out at this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards during 2013 SXSW.
Up to four nominees will be selected and voted on by the college audience, but only one deserving band or artist will have the chance to get flown out to Austin to experience one of the biggest festivals in music.
The winner will have their experiences documented for the MTV audience to see, get the opportunity to perform on stage alongside some of the biggest music acts, plus get handed their very own mtvU Woodie Award.
If you’re a college musician and think you should be up on the Woodies stage at South by Southwest, or if you know a band or artist on your campus worthy of the honor, send your name, contact info and link to videos.
MUST BE IN COLLEGE!
