Langley Productions, the creators and producers of the hit television series COPS, is looking for investigative news stories which are built on undercover or surveillance footage to profile on a new television show called VIDEO JUSTICE.
VIDEO JUSTICE focuses on video that has had an impact on the justice system, law enforcement or in the case of investigative reporting, prompted a change in local laws or community procedures. The half hour series will debut this spring on COURT TV.
Most recently, VIDEO JUSTICE profiled WPMI reporter Mike Rush of Mobile Alabama. Rush's undercover footage of organized fights between pit bulls and wild hogs has lead to an animal cruelty bill in the Alabama state legislature, which if passed will outlaw the bloody events.
If you have produced an investigative undercover report in the last five years which has had a positive effect on your community, we would like to hear about it.
Video justice would also be interested in profiling news camera photographers who have caught a crime on camera- whether it is a high speed chase or a bank robberyany footage that was used in court as evidence would be considered for the program.
This is an excellent opportunity to bring your work and your station's community commitment to a national audience on COURT TV.
VIDEO JUSTICE will consider airing profiles on any news story which features clear and compelling video from all television markets.
