CASTING SAVVY AIRLINE AUCTION SPECIALISTS

Cornwell Casting is looking for SAVVY AIRLINE AUCTION SPECIALISTS for a new TV series called “LOST BAGGAGE” for the TRAVEL CHANNEL. Male or Female in their late 20’s - 50’s.

Every year, thousands of bags are lost by airline passengers. Airlines try to reunite travelers with their luggage, but a percentage of bags just never get found. They are auctioned off by the airlines to the highest bidder who buy and resell the lost property. If that's what you do, we want to meet you!

The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in bidding on lost and abandoned personal property and merchandise. including shipments of all sorts of unusual merchandise and even unopened luggage. Must have gone or regularly go to auctions around the country (Phoenix, Miami, Raleigh Durham, US Customs in Los Angeles, USPS in Atlanta and possibly Greasby’s in London) and use their extensive buying experience to sniff out the most valuable items.

Must be a big character, funny and quick-on-their-feet.

Must have a hard nose businessmen’s feel, instincts and past experience that has taught them what’s what at theses large auctions. As well as be able to resell their finds to unique collectors, who are

usually willing to pay top dollar for particular items.

Think “Storage Wars” only with lost baggage. This is pilot-to-series.
