CASTING: Do You Think Competitive Sports Are Healthy For Children?

New talk show is actively seeking parents with opinions on whether competitive sports are still healthy for children or not, OR if all children should be able to participate in sports regardless of the points scored or who wins.

Have you heard of 'non-competitive sports' where teams play without really keeping track of score, to encourage kids to learn a sport without the discouragement of loosing? Where all the team members win trophies for trying, and everyone wins?

Are you a kind of parent who believes that 'non-competitive sports' are a good thing that will make children grow into positive people, who learn respect for each other, and how to dedicate themselves to an effort? Do you believe that everyone wins when children work as a team, and that everyone deserves a trophy for trying?

OR, are you tired of trophies being given out to children who do not deserve them? Do you believe that a healthy dose of competition will help children develop skills to work harder to be their best? Do you believe that winning and losing are life lessons to children need to learn early on, and that will help them better compete school, a job market, and life in general?

If you have children, or know children in a sport, and agree or disagree with 'non-competitive sports,' then we want to hear from you!
