Cornwell Casting is looking for a Designer/Host for an interior decorating show for HGTV. Male or Female in their 30's.
This is a fun show that takes design very seriously, but the host and the homeowners don't take themselves too seriously.
Must have proven expertise in Design/Decorating. Must be able to deconstruct a hideous room, and knowledgably redesign the original concept-gone- wrong.
Must be funny and quick-on-their-feet.
Must feel like a Designer first, Host second. They are thinking about the room and the people around them BEFORE they are thinking about the camera.
Must demonstrate respect and affection, and be able to relate to homeowners and their design disasters without being "threatening."
Must exhibit an honest curiosity about and appreciation for the homeowner's efforts, be able to make the homeowner feel valued.
This is pilot-to-series.
