A major event in my life was:
When our first adopted daughter was born, I was enroute to be there for her birth. I met her that same evening. My husband flew in early the next morning. We waited impatently for the phone call to go pick her up. The call came, & we went. Molly was in a bassinet. Before we were hurriedly ushered to sign papers, Steve had time only to reach in and touch her cheek. When the paperwork was done, I crossed the room, unwrapped our daughter, picked up our baby and handed her to her Daddy. Pure joy.
