Shayna, a 28 year old catering company owner from Buffalo NY was the 6th contestant eliminated from Hell's Kitchen season 4. We chatted with her this morning about last nights show and what she thought about some of the other cast members.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I ask the same thing each week to all the contestants since I am interested in knowing what prompted you all to apply. Had you watched prior shows and were you ready to work with Ramsay?

A. Shayna, Hells Kitchen 4: I have watched Hell’s Kitchen since episode one and knew I wanted to be on that show. I felt I could learn from Gordon and I felt on some level he and I would get along well, I still think he is a wonderful human being. I was close to getting into the audition for season three but got pregnant and ended up on season 4.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com:  Let’s talk about the cast. Corey started off talking poorly of Christina, why did people not like Christina?

A. Shayna, Hells Kitchen 4:  I had no issues with her and in last night’s episode I told Corey that Christina is not condescending, she knows a lot and it’s just her way of providing input and team work.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What’s your opinion as a viewer of the men being completely dysfunctional in the kitchen? Vanessa felt it was ego and no one was stepping up as a leader.

A. Shayna, Hells Kitchen 4:  It’s interesting because we could hear Ramsay yelling at the guys and the guys yelling at one another but we didn’t know what it was about.  What I found interesting about this season is that the girls who are usually known as being catty were able to put that aside during the dinner service while the guys were more Hell’s Bitches this season. I think their main issues are leadership and ego with the guys.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What’s up with Corey? She had it in for you and also started to try a little flirtation tactic with Louross to get further in the game.

A. Shayna, Hells Kitchen 4:  I think it’s long been a mission of hers to land a spot on reality TV.  Sadly, Corey will have to live with what the public will think of her after the show is over. As a viewer Corey comes off as a total bitch and it’s not just because she made comments about me being overweight.  Corey talks behind everyone back and it’s too early for that type of game play and the wrong type of game play for a cooking show, this isn’t Survivor.
 

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I know you have to run in a second but how do you think Matt will do with the girls?

A. Shayna, Hells Kitchen 4: I think the girls will chew him up and spit him out.
