Now Casting America's Next Best Fitness Trainer

One of America's most sought after trainers, Brendan J. Fox, brings together the unsung heroes of fitness, putting them through some of the most gruelling physical and mental challenges, all in the hopes of becoming America's Next Best Fitness Trainer.


Twelve selected trainers will vie for the title "America's Next Best Fitness Trainer" and prizes of $100,000, a new car, state of the art gym equipment and the cover of a national fitness magazine. They will compete at one of the country's most exclusive health and fitness centres and be lodged in a downtown loft, decked out with all the latest fitness equipment.


Strategically placed cameras will record their every move, from their exercise routines to their sleeping and eating habits. Through a series of team and individual challenges, they will be eliminated. Challenges may include training celebrities and professional athletes or "The Breakfast Hunt", whereupon the teams will need to scour the city for rare ingredients in a scavenger hunt to cook the healthiest breakfast, within 90 minutes, for one of America's top chefs.


Contestants may be asked to develop a fitness regime using limited resources and less than ideal environments (car, office, day care) for a variety of clients such as a single mother of four, or an unmotivated, overweight, former pro athlete, or even a bride to be who needs to lose the last 10 pounds! The reward... immunity!


Throughout the competition, each contestant will have the opportunity to use the Trainers' Lounge to vent about the day's frustrations, challenges and successes. These contestants have heart and we will profile their stories every step of the way.
