It's about time!

ABC announced "The Bachelorette" season 16 with 38-year-old Clare Crawley will premiere Tuesday, October 13. TUESDAY not Monday.

Crawley, from Sacramento, CA, made her Bachelor Nation debut in the controversial 18th season of "The Bachelor" with Juan Pablo, but she never gave up on finding love. She appeared in seasons one and two of "Bachelor in Paradise," but remained single. It was on "Bachelor Winter Games" where Clare met Benoit, the charming bachelor from "The Bachelorette" Canada, who proposed and she thought it was finally her happily ever after. The couple later realized their marriage wasn't meant to be and split up, but they remain friends.

As "The Bachelorette," Clare will begin her own journey to find love in the 16th season of the romance reality series. Clare "loves her career as a hairstylist and hopes to style the man of her dreams one day. She looks up to her late father as an example of the man she hopes to marry, someone strong and compassionate that can live life to the fullest, just like her!" says ABC's press release.

Despite the rumors that have swirled Clare's season (that she finds love, leaves early and Tayshia Adams replaces her in hopes of the same successful search) ABC has not confirmed the season plot twist. However, Chris Harrison did share the season key art above on Instagram captioned, "It's safe to say this season will be twice as good as any other!"

Chris Harrison returns to host the series, while Clare continues her search for the love of her life. Season 16 of "The Bachelorette" will premiere Tuesday, October 13 at 8pm ET on ABC.
