Two years ago, the documentary Catfish hit theaters, following the relationship between a young man named Nev and a woman he meets online.  Nev’s friends travel with him across the country to finally meet her face to face and are surprised by what they find.  Now, MTV has teamed up with the producers of Catfish and RelativityREAL to bring you a reality television series based on the film.

If you’re in a relationship with someone that exists online, and you want to meet then, but need help because you are keeping a secret from them , Catfish is looking for you.  Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace, the show is looking to bring people together and meet face to face for the first time.  We've already shot a few episodes, but casting is still underway and more details can be found at RealityWanted.com .
