About Me

Acting/Talent Experience:
I've performed in musical theater as Beth Spencer in Steven Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along (off Broadway 2008), Camelot (Off Broadway 2009) and I've also done "Extra" work within film -- RIPD (2013) and American Bad Boy (2014) I was a featured vocalist on the P. Diddy Series Mtv's Making The Band (2009). Also a Spokes artist for Mead Five Star Notebooks (2010). Grammy In The Schools Vocalist (2006) as well as a Opener for Shaq All Star Comedy Jam (2013) Finalist For ISC (2014)
Am I affiliated with unions?:
No
A major event in my life was:
A major event in my life that affected me greatly is being not only a divorced woman but what is considered an abandoned wife. This is something that is common but rarely discussed because of embarrassment or a sense of shattered pride. Basically, my husband woke up one day and decided he didn't want to be married anymore without ever telling me. He walked out and never came back. Getting over something like that is definitely a journey but I'm a much stronger person & artist because of it.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
I'm most proud of receiving my bachelors from Berklee College of Music. During my separation and divorce, I experienced depression, huge debts to the point of impoverished living, and couldn't figure out how to finish school. Singing was my saving grace. If I didn't sing I didn't eat. My passion saved my life, and in essence, allowed me to continue and finish my degree. So receiving my degree was not just walking across a stage for me, it was the moment I knew what I was made of!
An embarrassing story about me was:
The most embarrassing moment was when I had these incredibly high heels on and I was on stage performing (My heels had to have been platform 7 inch heels and I'm already a tall girl so I felt like Wilt Chamberlain). I was singing an epic song like "Don't stop Believin" well I got to the big high note and leaned backward as a rocker would only to discover that I was gonna fall off the 5 foot tall stage. I quickly recoiled and fell forward, mic hit my face and I cussed loudly at a wedding.
My favorite Movie:
50 First Dates, Robin Hood: Men in Tights
My favorite TV Show:
Catfish, Scandal, Once Upon a Time
My best Physical Trait is:
My Smile
Topics off limit to me at a party are:
Race (Hands up don't shoot or anything with Michael Brown--especially if I'm in a room full of white people lol) Religion (I am Christian and I don't like defending certain beliefs or trying to convince people that everyone has a right to believe what they choose)
Do I have tattoos or piercings:
I have a tattoo on the inside of my right wrist of a dove with an olive branch. I have a tattoo in the upper part of my back/lower neck of an ink quill dipped in ink with music notes coming from the feather of the quill. I also have a tattoo on my left shoulder (small sized) Japanese Cherry Blossoms (flower only no branches)
The weirdest thing about me is:
I'm double jointed at my shoulders so I can bend my arms back weirdly.
My friends would say my best qualities are:
I'm Loyal, I tell the truth about everything (very blunt) if you don't wanna know, don't ask. I'm funny! Always the life of the party especially with a little liquor. I'm wise (my best friend says I'm the friend that always makes her think). I'm a refined lady (I enjoy luxury and the finer things).
My friends would say my worst qualities are:
This came directly from my best friend in a text message because I really don't know: "U don't really have "bad" qualities. You can be a little bosssy sometimes, when you get drunk U can be a little wild, U can go from 0-100 if someone pushes the right buttons. I don't really consider that stuff bad tho. Just makes u not a complete angel. lol." That came from her, not me.
The personality traits I most like about myself are:
I think I'm sexy. I like my swag. I think I am an attractive personality in an open setting because I make friends easily and I always like to buy drinks and have fun. People come to me regularly thinking I'm a super star. I'm a natural ham. I always have been and I think that's what I most like about my personality -- My ability to attract anyone.
The personality traits I like least about myself are:
I talk a little too much sometimes for even my own good. I can get irritated easily. I can be a bit diva. If pushed to the limit my attitude can be pretty bad.
Miscellaneous Information:
Have a coke and a smile!
