Started in middle/high school with acting classes, musical theatre, public speaking I have 10 plus years of dance training in ballet,modern jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop I'm an all American girl...love every sport but like to be very girly as well. I ran track, cross country, played basketball and softball. Now living in California, I'm training in hip hop and have developed my own business teaching classes in LA.

My dear mother past away in 2013 from brain cancer. She was my best friend and life mentor. This was the most devastating thing ever for me----but as crazy as this sounds....I feel am I a better person from it all. I've gained so Much strength from her death.....and because she is not here on earth, I feel that I must fight harder for my life----to fully reach my potential as Ashley Nicole May.

The accomplishment I am most proud of is the fact that I am not Living in the "safe box" that I grew up in. I've lived in Virginia most of my Life ....small town....conservative family.....and the type of town that no one leaves even after they graduate. I consider myself a very brave individual--- I will do whatever it takes to win!

I have 2 tattoos : the first one I got was a disco ball on the back of my neck--- and it says "reflect the light" ---this reminds me to reflect Christ in this world The second is a feather with my mothers name "Valerie" She was Cherokee Indian -which the feather represents. It sits on my lower abdomen covering my appendix scar I have my nose pierced and my "Monroe" pierced

I'm extremely independent! I've never had a best friend....when I was younger my mother told me I would invite a friend over to spend the night and I would end up getting tired of them and would want them to leave early. I've always had a hard time working for corporations....where people tell who what when and where to be all the time. I like to be my own boss and to set my own schedule. I'd rather hang out with boys Then girls....I get bored hanging with girls.
