A major event in my life was:
Recently turned 40 and decided to live in my truth and came out as a proud lesbian and divorced my ex-husband of 6 years of marriage and 9 years together. One of the hardest things I had to go through when hurting someone you love and care about but I had to put myself first and be honest with myself about the woman I am becoming who is Gay and Proud and no longer hiding from herself or the world.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
Being able to overcome sexual, physical, mental and emotional abuse which I did not allow to make me bitter but make me better in still being able to love other human beings even though I was violated by one. I am able to love unconditionally and forgive without ego.
An embarrassing story about me was:
Walked into the men's bathroom due to talking on my cell phone and not paying attention and bumped into a man just finishing up using one of the urenals and had to do about face. Talk about Embarrassing!!

No topic is off limits for me. I am an open book and knowledge is definitely power and I love learning new things daily that can help improve my life.

I have 3 tattoos that hurt like F@ck! but so worth it as it is my accountability symbols to live life to the fullest each day!
The weirdest thing about me is:
The weirdest thing about me is that I love the doowop and disco era eventhough I was born in 1977 and have been told to have an old soul. I don't connect very well with music of today but more so the music before my time.
My friends would say my best qualities are:
Selfless, very direct, honest and transparent. Loving and can tell when her friends are going through something as she feels their energy.
My friends would say my worst qualities are:
I love hard and I love deep and it makes for a bad heartache.
The personality traits I most like about myself are:
I can forgive and let go of situations that I know are not best for me to be involved in and I have grown up so much in life and so proud of how far I have come as a woman, person and a leader.
The personality traits I like least about myself are:
I give so much of myself at times and definitely learning to balance being selfish and selfless but since I have such a gift of compassion it is really hard for me to not want to help my fellow human being in need.
