The moment you feel like you have to prove your worth to someone who says they love you is the moment you know they have been lying to you. Have a super great Tuesday! Your vote is in!

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. Have a great Friday !!!! Your vote is in.

Animals are reliable, many full of love, true in their affections, predictable in their actions, grateful and loyal. Difficult standards for people to live up to. Just something to think about on this Thursday! Your vote is in!

About Me

Acting/Talent Experience:
No acting experience. Although paraphrasing Shakespeare, all the world is a stage and we are all merely actors in a grand play! So that being said I have 55 years experience.
Am I affiliated with unions?:
No
A major event in my life was:
A major event in my life was at 39 years old on April 30, 1997. As Ellen DeGeneres was coming out on her TV show, I, along with many GLBT people in New Haven, watched this at a gay bar. The event was covered by the newspaper. Tired of running, hiding, & pretending to be somebody else, I allowed my picture to be taken. May 1, 1997 I was on the front page of the New Haven register "Historic night as gays hail Ellen coming out." There is no more defining moment in life than letting go of fear!!!
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
Being out and true to myself and all those around me about my sexual orientation.
An embarrassing story about me was:
My three sisters and I have a way of setting each other off with our humor to the point where we can pee in our pants. Unfortunately we did this on our trip throughout Paris. While that trip was 20 years ago we still can pee in our pants just reliving the stories. Since then sister lynne had the surgery. So now she can laugh in confidence while she watches me cross my legs.
My favorite Movie:
Forest Gump, Dead Man Walking, & The Sound of Music
My favorite TV Show:
Anything on TCM
My best Physical Trait is:
Gluteus Maximus (butt)
Topics off limit to me at a party are:
Anybody who is an education only for summers off! It is my hope that person leaves the profession.
Do I have tattoos or piercings:
At 40 years old my world changed so much that I got a tattoo to remind me of the strength I had at that point in my life. I have a rainbow yin/yang on my back shoulder.
The weirdest thing about me is:
Having to pick lint or gray hairs off a dark suit. Can't relax until it's gone. LOL but true.
My friends would say my best qualities are:
Gregarious, tenacious, and generous....I am full of life with a great sense of humor. I have confidence people admire along with great social skills. I can be comfortable in a dive bar or a 5 star. I have respect for people not because of their social status but because of who they are as a human being. A Homeless person might have better character than the CEO of a bank. And true to myself.
My friends would say my worst qualities are:
A tad Type A; things need to be in order to a fault. Has high standards and expects others to have them as well; easily frustrated if they don't. Getting better at handling Plan B.
The personality traits I most like about myself are:
"Well behaved women rarely make history!" I embrace being driven, pushing the envelope, and being able to go anywhere on my own. Since coming out publicly I definitely live life outside my comfort zone. You're not living if it's inside your comfort zone; taking life too cautiously. I am very reflective about my behavior and reactions to events. And I do believe life is 10% of what happens to you when 90% of how you react to it.
The personality traits I like least about myself are:
I can be a bit pushy if I truly believe something is in somebody's best interest, but to a fault. For instance, I think everybody should be doing Bikram yoga, it's the panacea for many ailments. So I can become relentless in pushing people.
