A major event in my life was:

Being diagnosed as autistic at age 39. Wished I was diagnosed earlier. It hasn't been easy. I wished there were more positive autism characters on television like the one on Criminal Minds. Like that character my autism comes from the environment I was raised in.

The accomplishment I am most proud of:

Contacting United States Equestrian Federation and Fédération Equestre Internationale about wanting to compete in their sponsored events. I told them I was autistic and wanted to compete. Their reply was if you dont need special equipment to stay in the saddle then you can. I dont.

The weirdest thing about me is:

I love dressing in New England Patriots stuff or patriotic things in general. Been that way since 9/11. Also a Tea Party Patriot due to my autism. Most autistics are Liberal in the political views.

Miscellaneous Information:

I want to show the world that there is more to autism than savants and Rainman. It is called Autism Spectrum Disorder. Spectrum means rainbow and how can it be one when only one hue is given the lime light all the time.
