Travis Stork, a handsome 33-year-old ER doctor who is completing his residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, has been selected to star in the eighth edition of The Bachelor, when ABCs popular romance reality series returns to the network on MONDAY, JANUARY 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET). For the first time ever the series will be set outside the United States in the most romantic city in the world Paris!

Travis, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earned his MD from University of Virginia, has a true passion for helping people, but the one thing that is missing is a woman to share his life.
