Hi all you reality addicts!  Yes it’s me, your favorite Average Joe Dennis here with a recap from last night.

The show I watched this fine Monday night was Dancing with the Stars.  Last week we said adios amigos to the stars Monica Seles and Penn Gillette.

It’s week 3 which means BREAK OUT THE JIVES AND THE TANGOS!  Well they got broken out, and not without surprises of who did well and who didn’t.  I had to agree with about 90% of all the judge’s comments to the performers. My picks of the best performances of the night went to 2 jives and 2 tangos. The jives were performed by Shannon with her partner Derek, and Christian with his partner Cheryl. The tango’s were performed by Priscilla and her partner Louie, and Kristi with her partner Mark.  

The surprises of the night were how good Adam Carolla was in his tango dance with Julianne, and how light on his feet (and hitting all the right marks) that Jason was with his jive partner Edyta. Marlee Matlin still continues to shock us at how she can perform without sound and this time with a fast jive to contend with.

The disappointments of the night went to Mario who has always been lauded with his commanding presence on the dance floor but tonight fell very flat and made very noticeable mistakes and also the broadway darling Marissa turned in a very very boring jive that was really graded harshly by the judges.

Tomorrow we’ll find out which 1 couple gets the axe. My pick of who should hit the bricks is (sorry Steve!)  monsignor Guttenberg.
