Bravo Media announced season 12 of "The Real Housewives of New York City" will premiere April 2nd. The ladies of the Big Apple returning include Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer who will be joined by a new housewife, Leah McSweeney.
Notably absent is Bethenny Frankel, but that doesn't mean there will be a shortage of storylines and drama in this squad. This season Luann is putting probation behind her and moving forward with her cabaret life. We hope to see more of Ramona's active dating life, Sonja just living her best life and Dorinda making it nice at Bluestone Manor.
"New housewife Leah McSweeney is a born-and-bred New Yorker. She is the mother of 12-year-old Keir and is also a boss who just celebrated the 15th anniversary of her streetwear brand for women, by women, Married to the Mob. Although she is the youngest in the group of women, she is not afraid to speak her mind, which at times causes friction, especially with Ramona and Sonja," says Bravo's press release.
