In the milestone 15th season of "Project Runway," Erin Robertson has been crowned the winner and the newest member of fashion's "in" crowd. The Utah native out-sewed all of her competitors including other finalists Laurence Basse, Rik Villa, and Roberi Parra.
"Currently living in Cambridge, MA, Robertson's hard work was evident on the runway at New York Fashion Week, with her collection featuring a playful use of colors and sequins that reflect her signature style. Her fashion-forward collection impressed the show's judges Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and this year's finale guest judge, Zendaya," says Lifetime's press release.
Robertson's winning prize includes $100,000 to launch her career in fashion, along with a year of Sally Beauty products and an additional $25,000 from the beauty company. She'll also receive a new Lexus IS sedan and a complete sewing and crafting studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery, as well as a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine.
