The Ladies are still at Mapperton and Caroline S. is still "suffocating" from the aristocratic atmosphere. Newbie Adela seems to think that the more she pushes against Caroline S. the more popular she'll be. To us maybe, but not to some of the other women. She is just as funny as Caroline S., though. Crazily enough, the rules and put-downs have brought Caroline S. to tears. TEARS I SAY!!! Who knew she had feelings?! Not in tears, Julie. It's like the world has flipped upside down.

Sophie has full intent to get Caroline S. on the fishing boat that hostess Julie has set up. It. Is. NOT. Happening. In fact, Sophie is asked to leave and very aggressively. In Caroline S.'s eyes Sophie is making a public statement that she is not loyal. A true friend is Juliet, who will fight all the battles ever to be fought. And then take selfies on boats with said enemies.

Caroline S. is left on the beach with her makeup artist talking about how her move to Dubai can't come fast enough. In fact, she doesn't want to be around women at all and prefers to be a gay man. Caroline F. is straight to Julie's defense on the boat, exclaiming that manners do matter, especially when royalty is hosting. Caroline S. does decide to turn up to the pub lunch once the Ladies have their land legs. (For the record, it is Caroline F.'s very first time having fish and chips EVER!!) But her mere presence changes the mood drastically. Julie is convinced that Caroline S. is intimidated by her title. OOOOOH... she went there. In her package she does mention "what is with these women with titles?" so perhaps it's true. Yet Julie is there trying to comfort Caroline S. like a good friend does.

Back in London, Caroline S. is turning down a birthday invitation for Sophie's son, her own nephew. It is the first time since their separation that Sophie and her husband's families will be together, sans Caroline and her children.

Marissa's mother-in-law is turning 80 and the party is in the Hamptons. It is where both Marissa's family and her husbands family celebrate all of their big moments. Unfortunately, the new baby is being left in London with the nanny. She's just too little to travel that far just yet. The women judge the decision right on cue.
