At just 13-years-old, the talented and award-winning dancer, Maddie Ziegler, will join Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo on the judges panel for this upcoming season of "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation."

You may recognize Maddie from "Dance Moms" where she is most commonly seen as Abbey Lee Miller's "favorite." Although she began her public career in reality TV, Maddie has had exceptional success at her young age performing on "Saturday Night Live," the Grammy Awards (2015), "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (three times), "We Can Survive" at the Hollywood Bowl, "Dancing with the Stars" (twice) and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." She also is making a name for herself as an aspiring actress with roles on such hit television shows as "Pretty Little Liars," "Austin & Ally" and "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn."

It's the perfect addition to the judging panel this season, which features a younger generation of dancers from the ages of 8-13, who will be paired up with All-Stars performing various dance styles.

Auditions for the upcoming season will continue this weekend as they head to Chicago seeking the best young, talented dancers.
