No doubt they can all sing, that's obviously why they're here and why they've made it this far. Now it's just about song choice and what the judges want to knit-pick at each week. If you like a little bit of quirk and a raspy voice, then Jenn Blosil is your girl. She knows how to make things her own regardless if the original singer is Justin Beiber. But what if you're more a fan of pop princesses in perfect packages tied up in string? Tristan is your girl, and she's young enough to stay in that role for a while. Say you just want a pretty winner... go for Dalton Rappatoni and his blue blue blue eyes. His blue eyes will entrap you, and then he'll sing... and then you'll be entranced by his blue eyes. Did you know Dalton Rappatoni has blue eyes? What color hair does he have? Another winner in my book, LaPorsha. Girl's. Got. It. Let's be honest, the duets are kind of pointless, though. I get that they're supposed to show another side, or give the contestants a last chance impressions... but who can pay attention to the new people when our faves from past years are showing off? Maybe we should just have a Past American Idol American Idol season?

Too bad if intimate stage performances via Kory Wheeler are your cup of tea because the piano-man is gone. Along with him is our fave fiddler, Amelia. Unfortunately even more got kicked to the curb: CJ, Adam, and the southernness southern belle, Shelbie Z.

The judges favorite Top 14 contestants set to move forward are:

Avalon Young
Gianna Isabella
Jeneve Rose Mitchell
La'Porsha Renae
MacKenzie Bourg
Sonika Vaid
Thomas Stringfellow
Lee Jean
Olivia Rox
Jenn Blosil
Dalton Rapattoni
Manny Torres
Tristan McIntosh
Trent Harmon
