It's day 7 and a critical moment in bootcamp... it's time to forgive. Letting go of their resentments will help them move forward with their partner.

The first activity is to reveal a past memory that still haunts them and has affected their life. Cedrik, Catherine, Benzino, Sarah and Sugar Bear stay with Ilsa and David while the rest go with the other directors. Sugar Bear discloses that when he was a child his father and uncle fought and when his father shot and missed his uncle, their relationship was over. And so was Sugar Bears' with that side of the family. Ink had a girlfriend who was kissing another boy... so his "fuck all girls" motto started when he was 12. Cedrik says "I don't think my father is my father". What he didn't get from his father he put on others. Sean said that when he lost all of his money in investing he lost all of his confidence. Catherine tells her groups that as a child her older sister would always call her "pig" and her mother would sign the word (she was a sign language interpreter). Sarah discloses that her father was selfish and ruined a special Christmas for her and her sister. Mama June tells the group that her mother was an alcoholic and would leave her in cars while she visited bars. Sundy initially refuses to disclose her painful memories and walks out. When she comes back in she asks for the picture of her as a child to be removed. She finally tells the group that when she was 12 her babysitter would touch her inappropriately while she slept. The directors get Cedrik from the other room and disclose the information to him and he breaks down. Benzino tells that he was in a gang and attended too many funerals for his friends. Althea felt that she didn't really have a childhood and found validation through relationships outside of her family. The purpose of this exercise was to release the burden in order to release the self hatred associated with it.

The second exercise is symbolic of the negative emotions weighing them down. They are supposed to fill their buckets with rocks that say things like, "self-pity", "distrust", "anxiety", etc. They then must place the rocks inside vests then wear the vests for the rest of the day. If they can cross the bridge at the end of the night they can be free of the weight. While they all sit around uncomfortable Ink throws his two cents in... surprise! Catherine has had enough of his negativity and Sean chimes in seemingly taking into consideration what Judge Toler has told him before, to be supportive and go to combat for his wife. Unfortunately Catherine doesn't see it that way and storms off, more angry at Sean for "not sticking up for her" than she is at Ink. Cedrik and Sundy put their own issues aside and work with Catherine and Sean. Sweet.

That night at the bridge they are supposed to confront the person who has caused them pain and forgive them. Ink needs to forgive his childhood girlfriend and Ilsa steps in to pretend to be the girl. He finally breaks through and breaks down. Everyone goes through one by one and letting their heaviness go. All the while Althea and Benzino are arguing in the background. Standard. It's all so emotional, do you have enough tissues? Sundy is the last to go and she can barely get through it through her own whimpers. She admits her hate for the babysitter and announces her forgiveness.
