It's Hollywood Round time and the contestants are trying to stay memorable and impressive in front of the judges in hopes of advancing to the next round. First they divide up to the traditional lines of 10 and step up one by one, but they only have one shot.

Jordan Sasser - His wife got a no in the first audition but she says she has forgiven him, and his man-bun.
Dalton Rapattoni and Laci Butler - these rivals are here together and will live on as they both go through.
Jenn Blosil - hopefully she stays this calm throughout the entire process.
Thomas Stringfellow - still one of Harry's faves.
Oliva Rox - claims she put herself through "Idol bootcamp" and it payed off.
Jessica Cabral - can't believe she's at Hollywood rounds.
Melanie Tierce - Harry didn't walk out on this audition for her brilliance and she's the first we see to go home.
Sonika Vaid - Harry once said she could win it.

La'Porsha Renae - her daughter being with her is keeping her focused.
Harrison Cohen - Dirty Grampa couldn't be here to help him audition but looks like he's here for the ladies, instead. No matter, he doesn't make it through.
Daniel Farmer - still focusing mainly on JLo. So is every guy here, dude. He doesn't make it through.
Manny Torres - Puerto Rican and hoping JLo feels patriotic.
Lee Jean - so sweet for his age.
Melany Huber - doesn't make it through.
Shelbie Z - pure country sweetness.
Jeneve Rose Mitchell - this is the girl who lives off the grid. How's the lights of Hollywood Jeneve?
Gianna Isabella - mom is Brenda K. Starr, former dance school mate of JLo. Harry made her step forward then back again before saying she had made it through.
Tristan McIntosh - mom surprised her at auditions from deployment.
Michelle Marie - still country and still sassy.
Kyrsti Jewel - singing blues-y for her 16th birthday but it's not enough to send her through. What a horrible birthday present.
Trent Harmon - got a call before his audition diagnosing him with mono.
Miranda "Poh" Scott - her sister is Shi from last season.
Emily Brooke - made it to the top 48 last season.
These few got too nervous and couldn't pull it together enough for the judges:

Now on to group night. They have to break up to groups of 3 or 4 and chose their own style of song and choreography. They get to work with vocal coaches and Idol mentor Scott Borchetta, CEO of Big Machine Records. If someone drops out of the group, the remaining members could get disqualified, like in the instance of Poh who's dad quit for her over the phone.

Team Blue Eyes - Treasure by Bruno Mars - Kory Wheeler, Jenna Renae, Jordan Sasser, Kelsie Watts

Milk and Cookies - Jenn Blosil, Bri Ray, Lynnzee Fraye, Sarah Sturm

Ooh x 2 - Amelia Eisenhaur - Tristan McIntosh, Lee Jean

A few honorable mentions: Avalon Young, Jeneve Rose Mitchell, Chynna Sherrod, Terrian, Mackenzie Bourg.

Trent still has mono so he hasn't been cleared to perform with a group. During the montage they played "All By Myself" which was perfectly fitting... why didn't he sing it for the judges???

Michelle Marie, Ashley Lusk, Lindsey Carrier, Shelbie Z. Apparently the others thought Lindsey was difficult to get along with and when she doesn't get through it shows their disconnect.

Elvie Shane and Ashley Lilinoe both go home.

Cameron Richard goes home all the way back to Louisiana.

Anatolia claims she was thrown out of one group but the former group claims it was all her decision. She ultimately joins two members, who also were down a member. As they join forces with the help of Anatolia's mother, it worked out. Her former group struggled a bit during their performance but they all got through, as well.

Josia, Jackie and Brian weren't so lucky.

Trick or Treat Tribe - Marcio Donaldson, Jon Klaasen, Kylle Thomasson, Kacye Haynes

Smooth Soul - Joy Dove, Daniel Farmer, Lindita. Linda takes the stage a little and Harry feels the other two should have tried to shine more. Daniel goes home.

Gianna Isabella, Eliz Camacho, Dana Ordway. Eliz took her diva behavior and put it on the other two making them feel inferior.

Dana had never even heard the song before but wasn't allowed to throw in her opinion. Nonetheless, the diva was sent home. It's ok with her, though, because she doesn't want to put a cap on one thing because that would be unfair to her other talents. No, really, she said that.

The Good Vibes - Joe Dahman, Alesana Tolai, Olivai Thai, Jessica Paige. Very lackluster.

Rebirth - Manny Torres, Malie Delgado, Christian Eason. This was the group that lost LaPorsha when she had a calling to help another pair of contestants gain a member of their own group or risk disqualification.

Soul Catz - Marshall Cunningham, Laurel Wright, Marshall Cunningham, Drew Angus... and every person forgot every word of "Staying Alive". Judges don't like that.

Tonie, La'Porsha, Marlena. They also sing "Staying Alive" but Marlena forgets the words even though she had them the night before during practice. To replace the words she sings runs.
