This week on RHOC, Meghan and her marriage were in the hot seat. 

Since she came on the show, it's clear she and her husband don't have the best relationship. He's very short with her at times, and can be very condescending and it actually seems like she has more of a relationship with her step daughter Haley than with him. Case in point, last night's episode. 

Meghan invited all the ladies (including Shannon) and their spouses over for  couples' game night. The only issue? The other half of her couple wasn't there. The fact that she had a game night without her husbands sent the tails on the other housewives wagging. Shannon especially, who was bewildered to even have an invite, was balking at the whole thing. Even though Meghan got snippy with her, she didn't throw the odd relationship issue in her face. 

Vicki on the other hand was another story.  A conversation came up about whether or not wives who stay at home should ask their husbands for permission before spending money Vicki got kind of heated about it, and Meghan took it personally, noting that Vicki may be jealous of her "situation". 

The situation she was referring to is the fact that she doesn't work. She doesn't have any small children, or any children of her own at all, yet she has no job. When questioned what she did before she met Jimmy, she described her career in medical equipment sales, which means that she at least did something, but Vicki wanted to know why she quit. She says that Jimmy was in St. Louis all the time, and she was only there on the weekends, so her career wasn't conducive to their relationship. Next, the obvious question was, why not work after she moved or at least travel to St. Louis when her husband was there. Her answer was her nearly grown stepdaughter. 

So quit her lucrative career because she wanted to be with her husband who is now always traveling and she can't get a job in the O.C  because she has to play mommy to a 17 year old? Sounds like she quit as soon as she got a whiff of green, something that isn't going to hold over well with uber successful Vicki. Stay tuned for next week when Meghan puts her foot in her mouth some more!
