RHOA - It's All Peachy (until the reunion)!

The season finale of RHOA aired last night, and I must say, this finale was very different than the others I've seen in previous seasons. The drama was minimal, and all the peaches (sans NeNe) seem to be at peace with one another.

Kenya invited everyone over for a screening of the pilot she shot for "Life Twirls On" and it was honestly a nice event. She made an entrance in a wedding gown though, which was slightly bizarre, but then she explained that her character was getting married in the pilot. I think all the housewives were relieved when she said that because no one was in the mood for Kenya's crazy antics.

She did a nice job putting the event together, even creating personalized popcorn bags for the ladies. Everyone thought she did a good job with the pilot, and I'm glad the only person she was clowning in it was herself. When she was working on it throughout the season, I honestly thought she was doing it to clown all the housewives and that it would be revealed in the finale. Luckily, that wasn't her angle.

The only one missing from the event was NeNe. She had her debut on Broadway, but let's face it, she wouldn't have been there anyway even if she was in Atlanta. And if she did decide to grace everyone with her presence, it sure wouldn't have been the peaceful event that it turned out to be.

There was a slight amount of drama when Apollo called Cynthia and Peter from jail. Apparently, he's determined to stay relevant even though he's in the big house. During the conversation, he told them that Phaedra wasn't bringing his kids to see him, and she wasn't letting his family members take them either. No surprise since Phaedra clearly voiced her concerns over taking her boys to a prison. Then Peter took it upon himself to tell Apollo that Phaedra filed for divorce, which she actually didn't. Cynthia had it right when she said that that piece of news shouldn't have come from Peter.

It's no secret that although Kandi is a newlywed, her married life is nothing but bliss. Her husband is always out of town working, and they barely spend time together. She announced to her mother and daughter that Todd had a pilot picked up and she was going to move to L.A with him while he was filming.

Maybe that announcement sparked something in Mama Joyce because she did something she's never done before -  apologized to Todd! Hell just froze over!

So everything seems to be peachy (excuse the pun) but the reunion will surely be a different story since NeNe (or Nay Nay) will be in attendance. Stay tuned!
