Since her husband is safely behind bars, Phaedra took the time to evaluate his place in her life, and she made a decision - to file for divorce. After everything she's been through with the man, you can't blame her.
None of the other wives on RHOA can really relate to what she's going through, so she invited her friend, Sarah Jakes, daughter of Bishop TD Jakes, for a little venting session. After she shared her struggles with getting pregnant at 14 and her terrible first marriage, Phaedra opened up about her emotionally unhealthy marriage to Apollo. She described their near constant fighting and her fears for her safety.
After speaking with Sarah, Phaedra realized it was time to put an end to her marriage. She went to see fellow Attorney Ronnie Kaplan, who questioned why she married Apollo, a felon fresh out of prison, in the first place. Phaedra definitely was put on the spot, but the question had merit! She told Ronnie she thought he was a changed man, but she could have been wrong and he could have been "coning her the entire time".
Attorney Kaplan suggested that the divorce process move slowly because of their boys and the fact that Apollo isn't around to participate. Let's see if they actually get divorce.
Next week the housewives travel the the Philippines and it appears Phaedra and Kenya honestly make up?!?
