We spoke with America's favorite and most eligible farmer, Chris Soules, who will be The Bachelor for the dating series' 29th season. Chris was heartbroken by Andi Dorfman last season, but has decided to give love another shot, and this time he is the Bachelor who will meet 30 prospective brides this season.
When asked how he's different from Juan Pablo, Chris said, "I took a lot of pride in this process because I felt you know it's very important to me to find a wife and that is you know probably my biggest goal at this point in my life."
Reality Wanted spoke with Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, who were both hoping Chris would be the next Bachelor, their relationship now Chris tells us, "Actually, Andi texted me shortly after I got back and wished me well and so I think we have a great relationship and I look forward to continuing that relationship for you know probably the remainder of my life."
With five extra bachelorettes this season, Chris has his work cut out for him. He said that first night was "overwhelming" and added, "my head was spinning after that first night there's no doubt about it."
We have a pretty exciting season to look forward to because when asked if he said "I love you," to any of the women, Chris revealed, "Yes, I did." So, it turns out Prince Farming may be in love!
This season we'll see 30 women in pursuit of Chris's love, as well as a guest appearance in week 3 from Jimmy Kimmel and a luxurious romantic trip to Bali for the overnight dates.
The 29th season of The Bachelor premieres on Monday, January 5th at 8pm EST on ABC.
