The Voice Season 7: End of the Knockouts!

The Knockout Rounds concluded tonight, and the remaining contestants were literally fighting for the last spots in the live shows. With very few steals left, they had to perform at their absolute best because there was no room for error. Best performances of the night"

Allison Bay vs. Taylor Brashears - Team Blake

Blake paired his two country sweethearts together to see who would survive in a he'd to head battle. Allison chose to go a little rebel funky with Dixie Chicks "Sin Wagon" and Taylor went classic ballad with Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide." Allison did a great job, but she was no match for Taylor's powerhouse ballad, so Blake went with Taylor as his pick for the live shows.

Jean Kelley vs. Melik - Team Pharrell

Sticking with his reggae theme, Melik went with "Could You Be Loved" and I swear, it seems like he's a full blown artist already. He is so confident and it just seems like he knows exactly who he is musically. Jean chose to do a stripped down version of Sia's "Chandelier" which Taylor Swift correctly predicted would be a game changer. It was a gorgeous, controlled, theatrical performance. Although Menlik did a great job, he was no match for Jean. Pharrell picked him to continue on to the live shows.

Reagan James vs. Grant Ganzer - Team Blake

Reagan is one of my favorites in the competition. She looks like Kelly Clarkson, but sings R&B. What could be better? She performed Hit Em' Up Style by Blu Cantrell, which was surprisingly amazing. Grant did One Republic's "Apologize" and he did well, but his nerves were definitely showing. Blake picked Reagan, but Adam gave Grant some good advice to take home with him, so maybe he'll be back.

Anita Antoinette vs. Craig Wayne Boyd - Team Gwen

Anita is on her second life on the show, not making it past the blind auditions the first time she tried out. This time around she's almost at the live shows and she was willing to leave anything to chance. Sticking with her reggae roots, she perfumed Rude by Magic! and did a great job. Thanks to the tips from Gwen and Taylor she really came alive on stage and got the audience and the judges going. Craig did "Can't You See" by The Marshall Tucker Band to get back to his gospel roots. That guy has such an amazing voice, all he really has to do is stand there and sing. Gwen was faced with a really tough decision and she chose Anita. Luckily Blake was holding his last steal waiting for Craig to become available, so he's staying in the competition.

Allright folks, we're in the home stretch now. The live shows begin next week, and before you know it, the winner of the voice will be chosen. Stay tuned!

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm EST on NBC.
