Now that the blind auditions are over, the contestants have to face off against members of their own team in order to stay on their team. In what is now a Voice tradition, the coaches brought in reinforcements for the battle rounds. Adam brought in Stevie Nicks, Gwen brought in her husband, Gavin. Pharrell tapped Alicia Keys and Blake has Jimi Westbrook. Here are the best battles of the night:

Elijah and Maiya - Team Pharrell

Pharell gave them "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. It's a pretty mild song, so it would have been easy if they didn't have to practice and perform it IN FRONT OF ALICIA KEYS! Alicia was blown away by Maiya's voice but also appreciated Elijah's male contribution to the song. Elijah was nervous about the performance, nothing that Maiya got a four chair turnaround and he only yielded two. I would have been nervous to go against Maiya too, she's damn near professional. They both did an amazing job and Blake even commented that he felt like he was watching a grammy performance. In a HUGE shocker, Pharrell chose Elijah and NO ONE STOLE HER. Can someone please pick my jaw up off of the floor?

Amanda Lee and Taylor John Williams - Team Gwen

Gwen gave them Dolly Parton's hit "Jolene" which was perfect for their alternative style but very different from their blind audition choices. They both rose to the occasion despite that. Taylor brought a little bit of indie vibe to the duet and Amanda showcased just how versatile her voice really is. Each coach pointed out how passionate her performance was and that combined with the character in her voice made her the clear winner for me. Unfortunately Gwen did not agree and she met a fate similar to Maiya - no one stole her. '

Luke Wade and Griffin - Team Pharrell

Pharrell assigned these two gentleman the Paul McCartney hit "Maybe I'm Amazed". They struggled a bit in rehearsals, but thanks to assistant coach Alicia Keys who put a soulful twist on the song, their performance turned out great. They combined their styles in a way that made it seem like they've been singing together for years. Pharrell made the difficult choice and picked Luke to stay on his Team. Griffin was stolen by Team Blake so he'll be staying on the show!

Stay tuned for tomorrow as the battle rounds continue!
